Accident? Who bears the costs for a motorcycle appraiser?
After such an accident with your motorcycle, you have the right to appoint a vehicle expert of your choice to assert your claims against the opposing insurance company. This also applies if the opposing insurance company wishes to hire your own expert. Find an expert you trust. This is the only way you can be sure that the damage to your motorcycle will be assessed objectively and neutrally.
The opposing insurance company is obliged to cover the costs for the motorcycle appraisal or the vehicle appraisal from a damage amount of approx. 750 euros. If the costs are lower or the amount of damage is difficult for you to estimate, you are welcome to give us a call. A few photos (e.g. by email or WhatsApp) usually help for an initial assessment.
After a motorcycle accident, we will always advise you free of charge and let you know whether it makes sense to prepare a motorcycle report and whether you will incur any costs.
